Description

Elektriseh heizbare Kopfhaube.

Electrically heated hood. The present invention relates to an electrically heatable hood. According to the invention, the hood is characterized by a pillow which can be placed on the head and which is provided with an electric heater. The hood can be used, for example, to dry the hair or create water waves by putting it on over the water waves that have been laid out and held in place with combs. The electrically heated hood is also useful for nervous headaches; Migraine, neuralgia, catarrh etc.

In the drawing, an example of an embodiment of the electrically heatable hood according to the invention is shown.

The illustrated electrically heatable head cover is constructed in the manner of a known heating pad, in that the heating wires are embedded in a flexible material suitable for producing a soft pad. So it is the same material that is used to make a heating pad. Instead of this material being sung in the form of a flat cushion, it is given the shape of a hood, as illustrated in the drawing. This head cover 1 has a chin strap 2 consisting of two parts, which is attached to the side parts of the head cover 1 and the hanging ends of which are tied together under the chin.

The heating wires, which converge at two pole connection points and are insulated in the cushion, are connected to the power supply cable 4 by means of an associated connection piece 3. The cable 4 has at the other end a plug for the network connection.

In order to be able to use the electrically heatable hood for all mains voltages occurring, a transformer can be provided which is conveniently arranged directly on the plug connection or in its vicinity.

The drawn hood is placed loosely on the head. When used to dry hair, the hair is primarily heated. The moisture in the hair is quickly absorbed by the air that has been heated and released with it to the outside. To produce water waves, the hood is placed in the same way over the water waves that have been laid out and held in place with combs, so that the latter dry in a very short time and thus become durable. The use of the hood is also recommended to relieve nervous headaches, migraines, neuralgia, catarrh, etc.
