Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines metallhaltigen Farbstoffes.    Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen me  tallhaltigen Farbstoff durch Behandeln des       Azofarbstoffes    aus dianotiertem     4-Nitro-2-          amino-l-phenol    und     1.3-Dioxybenzol    mit  kotalt- und aluminiumabgebenden Mitteln in  alkalischem Medium     erhalten    kann, wenn  diese Behandlung in Gegenwart von Salzen  der Weinsäure erfolgt.  



  Der erhaltene     kotalt-    und aluminiumhaltige  Farbstoff stellt ein rotes Pulver dar, das sich  in Alkohol löst und aus einer Lösung in       Nitro-    oder     Acetylzelluloselack    auf geeigne  ten Unterlagen rotorange gefärbte, lichtechte  Überzüge gibt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  27,5 Teile des Farbstoffes aus dianotier  tem     4-Nitr-o-2-amirio-l-phenol    und     1.3-Dioxy-          benzol    werden in 250 Teilen Wasser und  12 Teilen 30 0%     iger    Natronlauge gelöst und  bei 400 mit einer Lösung aus 22,4 Teilen  kristallisiertem     Kobaltsulfat,    6,8 Teilen kri  stallisiertem Aluminiumsulfat, 7,

  5 Teilen       Weinsäure        und        50        Teilen        30        %        iger        Natron-          lauge    versetzt und während einiger Zeit auf    <B>70-800</B> erwärmt. Hierauf gibt man weitere  15 Teile Natronlauge zu, filtriert die     Farb-          stofflösung    von etwas Ungelöstem ab und  neutralisiert das Filtrat mit verdünnter  Ameisensäure. Der ausgefallene Farbstoff  wird     abfiltriert,    ausgewaschen und bei mässiger  Temperatur getrocknet.

It has been found that a metal-containing dye can be obtained by treating the azo dye from dianotized 4-nitro-2-amino-1-phenol and 1,3-dioxybenzene with cold and aluminum donating agents in an alkaline medium, if this treatment is carried out in the presence of salts the tartaric acid takes place.



  The resulting kotalt- and aluminum-containing dye is a red powder that dissolves in alcohol and gives red-orange colored, lightfast coatings from a solution in nitro or acetylcellulose lacquer on suitable substrates.



  <I> Example: </I> 27.5 parts of the dyestuff from dianotier tem 4-nitr-o-2-amirio-1-phenol and 1,3-dioxybenzene are in 250 parts of water and 12 parts of 30% sodium hydroxide solution dissolved and at 400 with a solution of 22.4 parts of crystallized cobalt sulfate, 6.8 parts of crystallized aluminum sulfate, 7,

  5 parts of tartaric acid and 50 parts of 30% sodium hydroxide solution are added and the mixture is heated to <B> 70-800 </B> for some time. A further 15 parts of sodium hydroxide solution are then added, the dye solution is filtered to remove any undissolved material and the filtrate is neutralized with dilute formic acid. The precipitated dye is filtered off, washed out and dried at a moderate temperature.

Claims

Claim: Process for the production of a metal-containing dye by treating the azo dye from dianotized 4-nitro-2-amino-1-phenol and 1,3-dioxybenzene with cold and aluminum releasing agents in an alkaline medium, characterized in that this treatment is carried out in the presence of salts the tartaric acid takes place.

The resulting dye containing cold and aluminum is a red powder which dissolves in alcohol and, from a solution in nitro or acetyl cellulose lacquer, gives red-orange colored, light-fast coatings on suitable substrates.
