Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines wasserlöslichen Farbstoffes der Anthrachinonreihe. Das vorliegende Verfahren betrifft die Darstellung eines wasserlöslichen Farbstoffes der Anthrachinonreihe und ist dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass man 1-Acetylaniino-2- methyl-4-beta-naphtylaminoanthrachinon mit Schwefelsäuremonohydrat behandelt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 1 Teil 1-Acetylamino-2-methyl-4-beta- naplitylaminoanthrachinon wird bei 20 in 5 Teilen Schwefelsäuremonohydrat gelöst und eine Stunde bei dieser Temperatur gerührt, wonach eine Probe vollständig wasserlöslich geworden ist. Der Farbstoff wird durch Ein giessen in Wasser oder Eis, wobei er aus fällt, und Abfiltrieren isoliert.
Er stellt in trockenem Zustande ein schwarzes Pulver dar, welches in Wasser leicht löslich ist und Wolle in graubraunen Tönen von guten Echtheitseigenschaften an färbt.

The present process relates to the preparation of a water-soluble dye of the anthraquinone series and is characterized in that 1-acetylaniino-2-methyl-4-beta-naphthylaminoanthraquinone is treated with sulfuric acid monohydrate.
<I> Example: </I> 1 part 1-acetylamino-2-methyl-4-beta-naplitylaminoanthraquinone is dissolved in 5 parts sulfuric acid monohydrate at 20 and stirred for one hour at this temperature, after which a sample has become completely water-soluble. The dye is isolated by pouring into water or ice, whereupon it precipitates, and filtering off.
In the dry state it is a black powder which is easily soluble in water and dyes wool in gray-brown shades with good fastness properties.
