Description
Fussbodenbelag.
Floor covering. The invention relates to a floor covering which is used in particular as a runner, rugs or carpet. The same can be made of cotton, wool, jute, hair yarn or mixtures of such materials.
The floor covering consists of a woven fabric with a mesh-like appearance, has at least two warp thread systems of different colors and is manufactured in such a way that chain thread groups of several adjacent and superposed chain threads of the same system are formed, which together from the top of the covering Change the underside of the material according to the desired pattern, resulting in a covering material that is differently patterned on both sides and, as a result, can be used on both sides.
In order to be able to lead and integrate the superposed warp threads in closed groups, z. B. a special feed of the chain in the harness is required and this particular type of feed of the chain is that always z. B. three threads of the chain material, which can be different among themselves, are still pulled through a Litzenmaillon. This creates a special indentation of the chain in the weaving harness, which was previously not used for carpets, but whose application allows to produce a flooring fabric that has not been produced until now and is extremely durable and has a special color effect.
Such a floor covering is firm and wearable adornable due to the peculiar production and its possible use is significantly increased by the double-sided use.
In the drawing, the floor covering is shown according to the invention in an exemplary embodiment, namely: Fig. 1 shows the top of the floor covering, Fig. 2 the underside of the same, and Fig.3 shows a section along line AB of Fig. 2. The According to the invention, floor covering is optionally usable with top and bottom side and for this purpose has a pattern of any color that changes from the top to the bottom and is achieved by a peculiar bond.
This fabric consists of the upper chain thread groups a, which are formed from adjacent individual threads and the lower chain thread groups b of a different color, which are formed in the same way. Both groups a and b are connected by the weft threads c to form the braided fabric: The pattern of the floor covering is achieved by the differently colored chain thread groups that go from the top of the fabric to change the subpage in a certain sequence.
The getten thread groups a, b wech, be at d from the top to the bottom (Fig. 3), so that the pattern e (Fig. 2) results.
Production takes place with simple patterns on crank or dobby looms, but with complex patterns on jacquard machines, whereby the simplest pattern when using crank chairs or dobby machines requires four shafts.
In this way, a firm, hard-wearing floor covering material can be produced, which has a different pattern on each side and can therefore be used on both sides, which means that it can be used for a much longer period of time.
