Description
Building board for furniture, walls, doors and the like. For the construction of furniture, walls, doors and the like, relatively thin plywood panels are usually used. For some purposes, these are insufficiently insulating against heat and sound.
The building panel according to the present invention, in contrast, has a wooden frame that is covered by plywood panels on both sides, with at least one fitted wood fiber insulating panel connected to one of the plywood panels in the space between the plywood panels.
In the drawing, in Fig. 1, an exemplary embodiment of the building board according to the present invention is provided in longitudinal section, while Figs. 2 to 11 are used to explain an advantageous manufacturing process of such building boards, with Figs. 2 to 6 views and FIGS. 7 to 11 show associated longitudinal sections.
The building board shown in FIG. 1 has a wooden frame 1. It is covered on both sides with plywood sheets 2 and 3, each consisting of three layers. On the plywood sheets 2 and 3 are pressed wood fiber insulation panels 4 and 5 lying within the frame 1 with the interposition of an adhesive hot or cold pressed. The space between the two Plat th 4 and 5 is filled with an unpressed wood fiber insulation panel 6.
Such building boards are soundproof because of their wood fiber insulating layers. They are particularly suitable for the construction of walls of telephone booths, doors, hospital rooms and the like. Furthermore, the wood fiber insulation layers provide good heat protection.
A building panel according to this exemplary embodiment also has the advantage that the parts of the plywood panels 2 and 3 lying in the area of the frame opening are evenly backed by homogeneous, pressed panels 4 and 5 lying against them everywhere, thereby avoiding wave formation there.
This occurs when thin plywood panels are backed with bars in order to achieve greater thickness, as is the case with so-called blockboard, or with a lattice structure, as with so-called cell panels. With these, the plywood panels become wavy on their fronts in places where they are in contact with glue joints or bars, which is particularly noticeable with high polishing.
A method for producing construction panels according to this embodiment is, for example, the following: First, the wooden frame 1 is made (Fig. 2 and 7). Then the plywood panels 2 and 3 cut to the outside dimension of the wooden frame 1 are pressed together with the wood fiber insulation panels 4 and 5 cut to the inside dimension of the wooden frame 1 with glue in between, so that an edge. 7 remains free (Fig 3 and 8).
The frame 1 is now glued onto the edge 7 of the one panel combination 2, 4 (FIGS. 4 and 9) and an unpressed wood fiber insulation panel 6 is glued onto the panel 4 (FIGS. 5 and 10), which is so thick that they only have space for one plate in frame 1. 5 releases. Thereupon, the panel combination 5, 3 with the edge -7 of the plywood panel 3 is glued to the free side of the frame 1 and pressed together with all parts of the building board.
Instead of the three wood fiber layers 4, 5 and 6, however, only a single pressed or unpressed wood fiber insulation panel could be connected to one of the plywood panels or an unpressed wood fiber panel each could be connected to the plywood panels 2 and 3, with these wood fiber panels sitting appropriately in the frame if there is is only about achieving sound and heat insulation.
One of the two plywood panels could also be covered on the inside with two wood fiber insulation panels glued together, and the other plywood panel inside with just one wood fiber insulation panel, or each plywood panel with two wood fiber insulation panels glued together.
