  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes  der     Anthraehinonr        eihe.       Das vorliegende Verfahren betrifft die  Darstellung von     Acetyl-4        methoxyarrthrapy-          ridon    und ist dadurch     gekennzeichnet,    dass  man     1-Amino-4-methoxy-anthrachinon    mit       Acetessigester    in Gegenwart von Natrium  acetat und     Nitrobenzol    erhitzt.  



  Die neue Verbindung soll zur Darstellung  von Farbstoffen Verwendung finden.  <I>Beispiel,:</I>  Man erhitzt 20 Teile     1-Amino-4-methoxy-          anthracbinon,    0,5 Teile     Natriumacetat,    40  Teile     Acetessigester    und 20 Teile Nitrobenzol  auf 170-185  , bis die Menge des Destillats,  das aus Aceton und Alkohol besteht, nicht  mehr zunimmt. Das Produkt ist das     Acetyl-4-          methoxyanthrapyridon    vom F. P. 316       (Zers.),     aus     Nitrobenzol    gelbe Spiesse vom F.

   P.<B>317'</B>       (Zers.).    Das Produkt löst sich in Schwefel-    säure mit gelber Farbe, welche auf Zusatz  von Borsäure ziegelrot wird.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung von Acetyl-4- methoxyanthrapyridon, dadurch gekennzeich net, dass man 1-Arrrino-4-methoxyantlrra- chinon mit Acetessigester in Gegenwart von Natriumacetat und Nitrobenzol erhitzt. Das Acetyl - 4 - methoxyanthrapyridon schmilzt bei 316 , wobei es sich zersetzt. Aus Nitrobenzol kristallisiert es in gelben Spiessen vom Schmelzpunkt 317 (unter Zer setzung). Das Produkt löst sich in Schwefel säure mit gelber Farbe, welche auf Zusatz von Borsäure ziegelrot wird.
