Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes der Anthrachinonakridonreihe. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen Farbstoff der Anthrachinonakridonreihe er halten kann, wenn man 3'. 5'-Dichloranthra- chinonakridon, das aus dem Kondensations produkt aus 1-Chloranthrachinon-2-carbon- säurebenzylester und m-Dichloranilin durch Behandeln mit Wasser entziehenden Mitteln hergestellt werden kann, mit einem chlorie- rend wirkenden Mittel behandelt.
Der erhaltene Farbstoff, der Analyse nach ein Pentachloranthrachinonakridon, löst sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit orangeroter Farbe und liefert eine violette Küpe, aus der Baumwolle in leuchtenden blaustichigen Rosatönen gefärbt wird.
