Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines wertvollen     Küpenfarbstoffes.       Im Hauptpatent ist ein Verfahren zur  Darstellung eines     wertvollen        Küp,enfarbstof-          fes        beschrieben,,    bei dem     Aminodibenzauthron,     das erhalten werden     kann.        durch        Reduktion     des durch Nitrieren von     Dibenzanthron    ent  stehenden     Mononitrodibenzanthrons,    mit einem  in     1-Stellung    negativ substituierten     Anthra-          chinon    kondensiert wird.

    



  Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man       einen    ähnlichen wertvollen     Küpenfarb-          stoff    erhält, wenn man 3     Mol.        Amino-          dibenzanthron,    das erhalten werden kann  durch     Reduktion    des durch Nitrieren von       Dibenzanthron        entstehenden        Mononitro:

  di-          benzanthrons,    mit 1     Mol.    eines dreifach       halogensubstituierten        Isodibenza@nthrons,    das  durch     Halogenierung    von     Isodibenzanthron    in       Chlorsulfonsä.ure        erhalten    werden kann, kon  densiert.     Die    Kondensation führt man  zweckmässig in hochsiedenden     Lösungs-    oder  Verdünnungsmitteln aus, und man kann  hierbei auch säurebindende     Mittel    zusetzen.

      Vielfach ist die Anwendung von     Katalysa-          toren    vorteilhaft, als welche beispielsweise  Gemische von     Natriumacetat    und Kupfer  salzen benutzt werden können.  



  Der neue     Küpenfarbstoff    ist ein schwarzes  Pulver; er     ist    in     konzentrierter    Schwefel  säure mit     violetter    Farbe löslich und färbt  Baumwolle aus blauer     Küpe    in dunkelblauen,  hervorragend echten Tönen.

           Beispiel:       66 Teile     Dibrom-monochlor-isodibenzan-          thron    werden in 1000     Teilen    Nitrobenzol mit  141     Teilen        Aminodibenzanthron,    50 Teilen       Natriumacetat    und 15 Teilen Kupferoxyd so  lange unter Rühren gekocht, bis die     Farb-          stoffbildung    beendet ist. Dann     wird    wie  üblich aufgearbeitet.  



  Man kann das     Aminodibenzanthron    wäh  rend der Reaktion, aus der entsprechenden       Nitroverbindung        und    einem Reduktionsmittel,  zum Beispiel     Hydrazinhydrat    oder Schwefel,      erzeugen. Statt des     Dibrom-monochlor-iso-          dibenzanthrons        kann    man auch eine äquiva  lente Menge     Tr2brom-    oder     Trichlor-    oder       Dichlormonobromisodibenzanthron    verwen  den.

      In many cases it is advantageous to use catalysts as, for example, mixtures of sodium acetate and copper salts can be used.



  The new vat dye is a black powder; it is soluble in concentrated sulfuric acid with a violet color and dyes cotton from a blue vat in dark blue, exceptionally real shades.

           Example: 66 parts of dibromo-monochloroisodibenzanthrone in 1000 parts of nitrobenzene with 141 parts of aminodibenzanthrone, 50 parts of sodium acetate and 15 parts of copper oxide are boiled with stirring until the dye has ended. Then it is worked up as usual.



  The aminodibenzanthrone can be generated during the reaction from the corresponding nitro compound and a reducing agent, for example hydrazine hydrate or sulfur. Instead of the dibromo-monochloroisodibenzanthrone one can also use an equivalent amount of Tr2bromo- or trichloro- or dichloromonobromoisodibenzanthrone.
