Description
Stacheldraht.
Barbed Wire. The present invention is a solid barbed wire, which consists of a continuous; Twisted iron wire of triangular cross-section and made of iron wires wound around this wire at intervals, lying on the side surfaces of the same, two-pointed spikes forming. consists.
This barbed wire has the advantage that it is light and the barbed wires cannot shift on the continuous, twisted wire.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention through FIG. 1 in elevation and through FIG. 2 in an enlarged cross section along the line x-x in FIG. 1.
1 denotes a continuous, twisted iron wire of triangular cross-section. Iron wires 2, which form two-pointed spikes, are wound on this wire at approximately equal intervals in such a way that the turns lie against the side surfaces of the wire 1; while the wire ends lie in the same plane and are directed in opposite directions. A displacement of the wires 2 on the wire 1 is practically impossible.
Since the barbed wire is solid, it is light and easy to manufacture. It can be galvanized or galvanized.
