Description
Baggerartiger Wassermotor.
Excavator-like water motor. The present invention relates to an excavator-like water motor that can be operated through water with strong currents without using a weir.
An embodiment of this engine is shown on the accompanying drawings Darge. FIG. 1 shows a plan view, FIG. 2 shows a side view of the same. On two parallel shafts a and b, two chain wheels c each are firmly attached, which serve to accommodate the two chains d connecting the wheels. Between the extended chain bolts e, the excavator container f and the rollers g are rotatably mounted at equal intervals from one another. The rollers g could also be arranged aluminum outside the chains.
These day chains roll with the lower as well as with the upper half on rails la by means of the rollers g. The motor is installed in the water flow with the lower half of the chains and the containers moving along with it, see above! that the containers coming back from above, which - under the effect of their weight, with their opening 1c hanging freely, are facing upwards, now turn their opening towards the inflowing water in the flow. To empty the container rising up from the water, a stop i can be attached as a tilting device.
This motor can be built into the course of a river on iron frameworks or it can be anchored floating.
The pulling force of this motor depends on the length of the chains, 'as well as the number of containers and their size, while the speed of the same derjeni conditions correspond to the movement of the current. If, for example, with ordinary waterwheels, the speed is irregular, this error can be effectively countered by appropriately dimensioning the length of the excavator-like water motor.
