Description
Instrument pour ouvrir des boîtes de conserves. La présente invention se rapporte à un instrument pour ouvrir des boîtes de conserves. Celui-ci est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une tige qui, à l'une de ses extrémités, pré sente une fente destinée à recevoir une lan guette d'ouverturre de la boîte, tandis que l'autre extrémité est munie d'un organe con formé de façon à permettre de sortir facile ment le contenu de la boîte.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de la présente- invention.
La fig. 1 en est une vue de face et la fig. 2, une vue de côté.
La forme d'exécution représentée comprend une tige cylindrique a dont l'une des extré mités est munie d'un organe conformé en forme de fourchette b. A l'autre extrémité est prévue une fente c.
Pour ouvrir une boîte de conserve, on engage dans la fente c la languette dont sont munies d'habitude les boîtes en question et on enroule cette languette autour de la tige, après quoi on fait tourner celle-ci sur le couvercle de la boîte en tenant l'instrument par la fourchette b qui forme en même temps manette. Le couvercle de la boîte une fois détaché, on l'enlève très facilement de dessus la tige par glissement relatif suivant l'axe de cette pièce.
La fourchette b, qui pourrait être remplacée par une cuillère, permet de sortir facilement le contenu de la boîte.

The embodiment shown comprises a cylindrical rod a, one of the ends of which is provided with a member shaped in the form of a fork b. At the other end is a slot c.
To open a tin can, the tab usually fitted to the cans in question is engaged in the slot c and this tab is wound around the rod, after which the latter is rotated on the lid of the can in holding the instrument by the fork b which at the same time forms a lever. Once the cover of the box has been detached, it is very easily removed from above the rod by relative sliding along the axis of this part.
The fork b, which could be replaced by a spoon, makes it easy to remove the contents of the box.
