Description

Ziegeldach.

Tiled roof. The subject of the invention of the main patent is a tile roof in which under the bricks with a water groove provided metal shingles are arranged, which are bent at one end angularly abge to offer them a hold on the roof battens. These shingles close the tiled roof tightly against wind, water and fire.

According to the invention of this additional patent, the .handles are bent twice at an angle at one end so that they come into metallic contact with one another and an electrical connection is made for the purpose of DC lightning discharge.

On the drawing; is an embodiment example of the object of the present invention He is shown. It shows: Fig. 1 a metal shingle, Fig. 2 a cross section of the tiled roof, Fig. D the connection of the shingles with the lightning arresting device, Fig. 4 the tiled roof seen from the side, partially in section, and Fig. 5 the roof first on average.

The upper end of the shingle a is bent twice at right angles, so that the strip c forms a small continuation at the bend a 'in the direction of the shingle. The strip c has short notches d, in which the water grooves of the upper clapboard, which appear as elevations on the underside of the clapboard, come to lie and prevent the two shingles from shifting laterally against each other.

In Fig. 2, the touch of the shin can be seen at g.

The rows of metal clapboards are connected with a sheet metal band h attached to the bottom and top roof battens in order to obtain a good conductive connection with the roof jug i and the lightning arrester k , which runs along the entire edge of the roof and on both sides of the roof ridge. The lower sheet metal strip h is connected to the gutter (Fig. 2 and 4) and is therefore earthed,
