Description

Tooth wheel snap-in. The object of the invention is to snap a toothed wheel, especially a barrel ratchet, into the winding mechanisms of watch movements. It has a retaining mass.

This latching is characterized in that the retaining mass is formed by a flexible blade parallel to the plane of the toothed wheel and disposed in a recess of a support, one end of the flexible blade being fixed, the other being able to move within the limits of the recess and presenting a lateral beak which always tends to hold itself in the toothing of the wheel: The attached drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of invention. Fig. 1 shows it in plan; Fig. 2 is a section taken along line A-B of FIG. 1.

The ratchet 1 is fitted to a square of the barrel shaft and is controlled by the winding mechanism of a watch movement. This ratchet is placed on bridge 2 of the barrel. In the bridge 2 is provided, below the ratchet, a recess 3 which serves as a housing for the retaining mass of the ratchet. This retaining mass is formed by a steel blade 4, flexible parallel to the plane of the ratchet 1.

One of the ends of the blade 4 is fitted to a tenon 5 of the bridge 2 and rests, by a heel 6, against the wall of the recess 3. This end is fixed with respect to the other end of the hollow. the blade, which can flex within the limits of the recess 3 and has a lateral nose 4 'engaged in the teeth of the barrel ratchet 1. This nose 4', which is formed by stamping the wool 4, is pressed against the wall of the recess 3 and thus prevents the ratchet 1 from turning in the opposite direction to that indicated by the arrow in fig. 1.

On the other hand, when the ratchet 1 turns in the direction indicated by the arrow, when the barrel is reassembled, the blade 4 is driven and flexes until the nose 4 'has disengaged from the teeth of the ratchet and allows this last to perform a continuous rotational movement following the arrow. But as soon as the ratchet tends to turn in the retrograde direction, the beak 4 're-engages in the teeth of the ratchet and prevents any retrograde movement of the latter, as soon as the blade has resumed its initial position shown in the drawing.

The snap-fastening described is distinguished by the fact that it has only one organ.
