Description

Ritt lose Dachverglasung.

Ritt loose roof glazing. The subject of the invention is shown in an execution example on the accompanying drawing.

1 is a common T-iron rail, as used on glass roofs. A lead lining 2 with a wall thickness of about 1 mm is rolled onto the rail 1. The cladding 2 completely surrounds the rail 1. On the left and on the right flange of the rail 1, two elevations each run along the flange, one on the outer edge of the flange and one in its center.

The latter is to be undercut against the web of the rail 1. In such a way there are two lengthways with it across each flange. running gutters formed to drain away sweat water. A glass plate 3 rests on the undercut elevation of each flange. A sheet zinc strip 4 is placed over the web of the rail 1, the side edges of which overlap the two glass plates and, because it is connected to the rail 1 by cotter pins 5, protects them from being lifted off by wind pressure.

Compared to screw fastenings that rust easily, the split pin fastening has the advantage of being easier to remove.

Claims (1)

PATENT CLAIM: Putty-free roof glazing, characterized by a complete lead cladding of the support strips for roof glass, through channels in the lead cladding for drainage, sweat water and zinc sheet strips put over the support strips and splinted with them, which grip the roof glass and prevent it from being lifted off by wind pressure .
