Description
Limit switch gauge with adjustable probe pins. The invention relates to a limit switch gauge with adjustable feeler pins.
The invention consists in that at least one of the feeler pins, which are inserted with a snug fit in the gauge legs and have almost their entire length smooth-walled, is held in place by a removable soft metal seal, which is inserted into a bore across the pin guide and on the one hand with connected to the feeler pin t by corrugation,
.on the other hand, is secured against rotation by means of a projection in the gauge bracket.
The invention is shown in an embodiment example in the drawing.
As such, FIG. 1 shows a double rake gauge, one arm of which is cut to show the mounting of the feeler pins; Fig. 2 shows in a section, placed at right angles to that in Fig. 1, the seal in its position before it is closed, and Fig. 3 in a, same section after it is closed GE.
In the teaching 1 sit the feeler pins 2, two in each of the opposite arms of the teaching. Transversely to the guides of the bolts, a hole 3 is provided in the gauge arm, which has a slightly larger diameter than the distance between the two bolt guides is.
The two bolts are .at the point where they protrude into the bore 3, ge corrugated, so that a soft metal seal 4, which is placed in the bore 3 according to FIG. 2, after pressing together according to FIG fills, thereby penetrating into the corrugation of the bolts and also into the groove 5. The latter secures the seal against unintentional rotation.
In this way, the feeler pins are easy to lay down in a desired position, and it is also easy to readjust them by removing the seal.
These probe pins can be used up until they are completely worn out, with each selected position being secured against improper change by using seals as fastening means. When the seals are worn out, the seals are pushed out, the bolts are pushed further inwards to the previous rough dimensions, the seals are poured or pressed in, whereupon the made-to-measure cut starts again.
The invention can of course also be applied to length gauges and other gauges with bolts that can be adjusted.
