Description

  

  Giessmaschine für     Stereotypieplatten    mit an den Schmelzkessel     anschliessbarer    Giessform.    Bei     Giessmaschinen    für     Stereotypieplatten     mit einer an den Schmelzkessel unmittelbar       anschliessbaren    Giessform hat man bisher für  die Giessform eine besondere     Fundamentplatte     vorgesehen. Diese Anordnung ist aber teuer  und erschwert das genaue Einstellen der  Giessform in bezug auf die     Einlauföffnung     für das Metall.  



  Um diesem Übelstande     abzuhelfen,    wird  gemäss der vorliegenden Erfindung die Giess  form an der Ofenwandung angebracht. Zweck  mässig wird ferner von dieser auch der An  triebsmechanismus - gegebenenfalls auch  der Motor - zum Öffnen und Schliessen der  Giessform und zur Bewegung des den Metall-.       ausfluss    steuernden Organes getragen.  



  Auf der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise  Ausführungsform einer Giessmaschine nach  der Erfindung     veranschaulicht,    und zwar zeigt:       Fig.    1 eine Vorderansicht des Schmelz  ofens, sowie der Giessform mit Antriebs  mechanismus teilweise im Schnitt nach     A-B     in.     Fig.    2, und       Fig.    2 eine Seitenansicht derselben Teile.    Die seitlichen Ofenwände     ca    sind unten  nach vorn verlängert und die verlängerten  Teile mittelst Traversen b, b' (Spindel) mit  einander verbunden. Um die Traverse b' ist  das Gestell n drehbar, welches die Giessform c  trägt.

   Die zweite Traverse b dient als     Stütze     für Lenker c, in welchen die Welle y,     )z.,   <I>p</I>  gelagert ist. Diese Welle wird mit der Schale  der     Griessform    c durch die Pleuelstange i ver  bunden, so dass durch Drehen der Welle     p     die Schale in Kulissen des Gestelles n     auf-          und        abbewegt    und die Form dadurch geöffnet  und geschlossen wird. Sie ist ferner durch  Zapfen s, t im Gestell n exzentrisch gelagert.

    Infolgedessen. wird dieses Gestell bei Drehung  der Welle abwechselnd gehoben und gesenkt,  und zwar derartig, dass die vom Gestell n  getragene Form in der geschlossenen Stellung  gegen den Ofen gepresst und in der geöffneten  Stellung von diesem nach unten fortbewegt  wird. Zum Drehen der Welle     p    dient der in       dein\    Kasten d untergebrachte Antriebsmecha  nismus. Dieser wird     von    einer an der einen  Ofenwandung vorgesehenen Konsole e getragen  und dreht periodisch die Kurbel     q,    die mit      der Welle p durch die Kurbel v verbunden  ist.

   In demselben Kasten     d    sind auch die  Teile enthalten, die zum Drehen der Welle     1e     dienen, durch welche das     Hahnkücken        m        mit-          telst    der Pleuelstange l geöffnet und ge  schlossen wird.
