Abstract
L'invention a trait à un capuchon de traverse de pare-brise de véhicule cabriolet. Le capuchon épouse généralement les contours de la traverse de pare-brise et cache les éléments d'étanchéité et de verrouillage du système décapotable associés à la traverse de pare-brise afin d'éviter qu'ils soient exposés aux éléments climatiques et à la détérioration lorsque la capote est en position ouverte. Pour encourager l'utilisation soutenue du capuchon (et, par conséquent, la protection des éléments du système décapotable exposés contre la détérioration) lorsque la capote est en position ouverte, le corps du capuchon est configuré de préférence pour s'harmoniser à l'aspect de la surface des montants avant du véhicule, ou le compléter ou le prolonger, à travers la traverse du pare-brise. La hauteur ou le prolongement vers l'arrière du capuchon peut être augmenté au-delà de ce qui est requis pour épouser les contours de la traverse de pare-brise ou pour obtenir un aspect de surface complémentaire dans le but de créer un pare-soleil plus grand qui s'étend essentiellement sur la pleine largeur du véhicule.
