Abstract
L'invention concerne une poche de traitement qui comprend une coquille de poche qui contient une chemise réfractaire de poche, globalement tubulaire, ladite poche pouvant pivoter entre une position horizontale et une position verticale, ladite chemise de poche présentant une première extrémité et une deuxième extrémité ainsi qu'une paroi latérale continue entre elles, un espace intérieur étant défini entre ladite première et ladite deuxième extrémité et la paroi latérale continue, ladite chemise de poche comprenant de plus un réceptacle qui contient un agent de traitement, ledit réceptacle étant situé en position adjacente à la première extrémité, en communication fluidique avec l'espace intérieur et étant situé plus près du sommet que du fond de l'espace intérieur lorsque la poche se trouve en position horizontale et plus près du fond que du sommet de l'espace intérieur lorsque la poche est en position verticale, ainsi qu'un bec qui reçoit et verse le métal fondu, situé plus près du sommet que du fond de l'espace intérieur lorsque la poche se trouve en position horizontale ou en position verticale. En position horizontale, un volume inférieur de l'espace intérieur, défini en dessous d'un plan situé au milieu entre le sommet et le fond de l'espace intérieur et entre la première extrémité et un plan vertical intermédiaire entre la première et la deuxième extrémité, est plus grand que le volume supérieur de l'espace intérieur défini au-dessus du plan médian et entre la première extrémité et ledit plan vertical. La poche de traitement est conçue pour traiter du métal fondu qui contient des additifs vaporisables, en particulier dans la préparation de fonte ductile. L'invention concerne également un procédé de traitement de métal fondu au moyen de la poche.
