Abstract
The invention relates to a core locking device, which comprises elements for locking the core locking device (10) into a winding spool, advantageously into a core, of a reel being wound on a carrier--roll winder which core locking device (10) is located on guides (27;
57) arranged into connection with the winder, which core locking device (10) moves as the winding proceeds along a centre (18) of the reel being formed. The core locking device (10) comprises an elastic element (23; 31; 40) for isolating the motion in the direction of the radius of the web reel being formed and, by means of the elastic element (23; 31; 40), a portion of the core locking device (10) engaged in forced vibration is arranged to be limited such that the portion of the core locking device (10) in forced vibration is minimised.

Claims (8)
1. A core locking device, which comprises elements for locking the core locking device (10) into a winding spool, advantageously into a core, of a reel being wound on a carrier-roll winder which core locking device (10) is located on guides (27; 57) arranged into connection with the winder, which core locking device (10) moves as the winding proceeds along a centre (18) of the reel being formed, characterised in that the core locking device (10) comprises an elastic element (23; 31; 40) for isolating the motion in the direction of the radius of the web reel being formed and that, by means of the elastic element (23; 31; 40), a portion of the core locking device (10) engaged in forced vibration is arranged to be limited such that the portion of the core locking device (10) being in forced vibration is minimised.

A core locking device according to claim 1, characterised in that the core locking device (10) comprises an axially moving part (22), in which there is a damped pivoting (24, 25) releasing the degree of freedom in the direction of the reel radius which pivoting is inside the outer diameter of the winding core of the reel being wound.

A core locking device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the elastic element of the core locking device is formed of a ball joint (23) which is located into connection with the axially moving part (22) of the core locking device on the side of a spindle (21) located in the centre (18) of its reel at a distance from the spindle (21) such that the portion of the core locking device (10) engaged in forced vibration abuts to the ball joint (23).
4. A core locking device according to claim 3, characterised in that into the vicinity of the ball joint (23) on the side of the spindle (21) are located elastic and damping elements (23A) limiting rotation.

A core locking device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the core locking device (10) comprises the axially moving part (22), in which there is a damped mechanism (31) releasing the degree of freedom in the direction of the reel radius which is substantially in the centre line of and/or concentric with the axially moving part.

A core locking device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that into connection with the core locking device (10) is arranged a floating core socket (40), which floating core socket comprises two bearings (42, 43) substantially at a straight angle in relation to each other and a coil spring (41) or equivalent which enables motion and centres the socket (40).
7. A core locking device according to any one of preceding claims, characterised in that the core locking device (10) comprises a sturdy body (19) stable in forced vibration.
8. A core locking device according to any one of preceding claims, characterised in that the core locking device (10) comprises a brake (14) for stiffening the motion of the body (19) of the core locking device (10) when required.
