Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif électronique à tenue manuelle avec clavier QWERTY réduit et logiciel de désembiguïsation. Le dispositif possède un programme par défaut et un certain nombre de variantes. Ce programme dépend dans une large mesure du choix statistiquement prévisible de l'utilisateur. Diverses caractéristiques du dispositif permettent de choisir des variantes supplémentaires qui ne sont pas fonction uniquement de la fréquence et qui sont rendues possibles par diverses structures logiques résidant sur le dispositif. Outre une fonction d'édition intervenant pendant la saisie du texte, ce dispositif possède une fonction d'apprentissage grâce à laquelle la fonction de désembiguïsation peut s'adapter et livrer une expérience personnalisée à l'utilisateur. Ladite fonction de désembiguïsation peut être neutralisée sélectivement et un autre système d'interprétation des touches être mis en oeuvre. Par ailleurs, le dispositif peut faciliter la sélection de variantes grâce à l'affichage graphique d'une touche spéciale <NEXT> avec laquelle l'utilisateur peut faire défiler des variantes sans modifier la position des doigts sur le dispositif.
