Abstract

A new system for locating items such as luggage in the airport, or pets from hiding. This is a key ring sized remote controlled Transmitter/receiver tag system in which the operator presses a button on the transmitter, sending a signal to the receiver, which when within 50 meters of the transmitter emits a choice of sounds , thus enabling the operator to locate his or her property. The sounds consist of various pre-recorded animal, bird or voice sounds, or optional self- recorded messages

Description

SPECIFICATION
1- This invention relates to a manually operable remote controlled transmitter / receiver tags for locating property as comes onto the baggage carousel at airports.
2- It is common in remote controlled devices to emit sound or light via a transmitter and receiver system. The Systems of this type are, however inefficient due to their cumbersome size, inability to fasten to various objects such as luggage, pet collars, hanging from kid's neck, etcetera, as welt as lacking a variety of sounds in order to individualize the signal.
3- I have found that theses disadvantages may be overcome by providing a key ring sized system of tags that can be attached to various property, and by a variety of pre-recorded sound such as dog barking, bird chirping, cat's sound,or voice messages such as "I am here" or "I am coming", as well as the capacity for recording own message via Z1SB on the receiver for recording through a computer.
4- In drawings which illustrate embodiments of the invention, Figure 1 . is a plan view of the transmitter, Figure 2, is a plan view of the receiver.
5- The transmitter 1 . illustrated comprises an activation button, a battery, micro- controller and a RF transmitter. The transmitter 1. is micro-controller based, uses encoded transmission to activate the receiver 2. when activation button is depressed on transmitterl.
6- It activates the micro-controller, sending the signal via the RF
transmitter, powered by the battery.
7- This in turn, when transmitter is depressed within 50 meters of the receiver 2 illustrated comprises a RF Receiver, micro controller, memory chip. Battery and speaker. When the signal is received by the receiver 2. via the RF receiver it activates the micro-controller decodes the address, retrieving pre- selected voice or sound output stored in memory chip, which is emitted through the speaker, powered by the battery. Multiple activations are prevented using micro-controller addressing scheme.

The mode of action The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows:
This is a manually operable device for locating luggage, pets , kids etcetera as they descend onto the luggage carousel at an airport via an electronic signal when the transmitter is operated within 50 meters of the receiver, thus enabling passengers to locate and retrieve their luggage with greater ease, eliminating the possibility of retrieving the wrong luggage due to similarity to someone else's or from inability to see one's own property.
This is a manually operable device for locating pets like a cat when get out side it is very hard to located This is a manually operable device for locating young child ,if the receiver is attached to the child, either on his or her clothing (zip, belt loop, etc) or on a bracelet or necklace, in the event that the child should get lost in a crowd or wander out of the line of vision of his or her guardian then the guardian could activate the transmitter and the signal would save valuable time in locating a child as it would eliminate searches in the wrong direction.

Claims (5)

1- A device as defined in claim 1, in which receiver gives selection of animal sounds.
2- A device as defined in claim 1. in which receiver gives selection of bird's sounds.
3- A device as defined in claim 1. in which receiver gives melodious music.
4- A device as defined in claim 1. in which receiver gives selection of voice sounds.
5- A device as defined in claim 1. in which receiver has USB to record own sound via a computer
