Abstract

This is a pallet to be used for relocating and storing goods. It is made mobile with the aid of a standard hard truck The overall dimensions of the pallet are 20 inches wide, by 11 inches deep, by 6 inches high. There is a slot on the bottom of the pallet for a plate of a standard hand truck to be inserted. The pallet can then be relocated while on the hand truck.

Description:
This is a pallet for relocating and storing goods. It is made mobile with the aid of a standard hand truck.
The dimensions for the pallet are 20 inches (S 1.Scm) wide, 11 inches (29cm) deep, and 6 inches ( 1 Scm) high. There is an open space for the plate of a hand truck, which is 18 inches (46.Scm) wide, 1 I inches (29cm) deep, and 3/8 of an inch (lcm) high.
The legs that the unit stands on is 1 inch on the left and I inch on the right hand side of the inserted blade, which leaves enough clearance space for the plate to be inserted and withdrawn without disturbing the pallet. It is not until the hand truck is inserted and tilted back that the pallet becomes mobile. The unit is manufactured by plastic mold injection and is strong enough to have an 18 inches (46.Scm) span with a load-bearing capacity of 3001bs.(150kg). Empty pallets are made stackable by two channels, one on the left and one on the right hand side of the top surface. The channels are 1 inch (2.Scm) wide, 11 inches (25cm) long, and 3/8 of an inch (1 cm) deep.

Claims (11)

1. This is a free standing pallet.
2. This pallet has a top surface of 11" x 20".
3. This pallet has a load capacity of 300lbs.
4. The tarp surface is 6" high.
5. This pallet is suitable to hold a variety of items, such as multiple cases of beverages, ceramic tiles; as well as sacks of flour, potatoes, and cement, etc.
6. There is an open space under 5he pallet of 11" x 18" and is 3/8 of an inch high.
7. The open space as in "claim 6" is suitable for the plate of a standard hand truck is also goes by the names of dolly, handcart, or wheely.
8. The insertion of the plate as in "claim '7"' will not manipulate the pallet.
9. When the hand truck is tilted back in a normal way the pallet, with the loaded products on, will move in unison with the hand truck.
10. When the hand truck is returned to the vertical position, the hand trick can be withdrawn fro the pallet without any disruptions.
11. The top surface has two channels or grooves on it of 1" wide, 11" on the right and left hand side, so that the pallets, without products on it, are stackable.
