Abstract

La présente invention concerne une nappe fibreuse enduite et un procédé de production de ladite nappe. Selon cette invention, une nappe fibreuse enduite est constituée d'une nappe de base, qui contient une charge et une couche d'enduction pigmentée sur au moins une surface. La charge de la nappe de base est constituée au moins partiellement de fibrilles de cellulose ou de lignocellulose, à la surface desquelles des particules de matière dispersant la lumière ont été déposées. Cette charge contient des fibrilles de cellulose ou de lignocellulose présentant une épaisseur moyenne inférieure à 5 µm et produites à partir de fibres végétales par raffinage et classage. La présente invention offre des avantages considérables. Cette charge composite permet d'améliorer la formation de cette nappe fibreuse de manière significative sans diminuer la rétention, de manière à obtenir un substrat extrêmement lisse pour l'enduction. Le lissé de la surface peut également est amélioré. De plus, la fraction fine de la charge densifie la surface du papier de base, de sorte que l'enduit ne pénètre pas trop dans le réseau de fibres. C'est pour ces raisons que même une petite quantité d'enduit produit une couverture de bonne qualité, ce qui améliore le rapport coût-efficacité.
