Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de mesure sans contact et un dispositif servant à produire un signal représentatif d'une distance séparan t des surfaces opposées d'une première et d'une seconde pièce, lesdites pièces étant séparées par une distance restreinte, comme dans le cas du rotor et du stator d'une machine à rotation électrique. Le procédé se caractérise par la mise en place d'un détecteur sur la surface de la première pièce. Le détecte ur comprend des première et seconde plaques conductrices superposées, parallèle s et électriquement isolées l'une de l'autre. La seconde plaque se trouve entr e la première plaque et la surface de la première pièce. La seconde plaque reçoit un signal haute fréquence via une résistance. Une impédance élevée, u ne capacité d'entrée faible, une tension amplifiée à gain unitaire sont introduits via la résistance, en même temps que le signal haute fréquence. L a seconde plaque reçoit un signal de sortie de l'amplificateur. Le signal de sortie de l'amplificateur est directement proportionnel à la distance entre les deux surfaces.
