Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de pose de manchons sur des objets en défilement, lesdits manchons étant tronçonnés à partir d'une gaine continue (13) passant sur un conformateur (20) d'ouverture de gaine du type flottant. Conformément à l'invention, les galets (30, 31) de descente de gaine et les galets (32, 33) d'éjection du tronçon de gaine coupé (15) sont entraînés en rotation par des moteurs électriques associés (41; 42, 43) dont la commande est réalisée en synchronisme par un programmateur électronique commun (50) agencé pour déterminer un profil continu de variation des vitesses, afin de piloter la descente de chaque tronçon de gaine, ledit programmateur incluant au moins une carte de commande (55) qui coopère avec un codeur adjacent (47) monté en bout d'un arbre (46) entraîné en rotation par un groupe motoréducteur central (40, 45). La synchronisation obtenue permet d'envisager des cadences très élevées avec un diamètre de manchons à peine supérieur au diamètre maximal des objets.
