Compact Discs are used to hold all kinds of media. In this invention the compact disc are custom shaped, and contain customized media for the purpose of marketing a company or individual.

Digital Business Cards Description:- Digicard is an interactive compact disk(CD-ROM) busuness card which can contain all the information contained in a printed corporate brochure. They can contain printed materials, pictures,video,animated 3D graphics, links to web sites & interactive forms that can be submitted.
This new innovative marketing tool will give any business the edge over the competition. These unique, interactive CD-ROM business cards can contain all of the information contained in a printed corporate brochure AND MORE!.
Digicards will play in CDROM or DVD player the same as an ordinary Compact Disk or DVD.
How Does It Work?
Digicards are placed in the smaller inner tray of CDROM or DVD player. This placement allows for the Digicard to remain stable in the drive, even at high speeds.

Audio, Video, Software, Interactive Presentations, Pictures, Narration, Enhanced CD-ROM... and amost anything Digicards are of 9 major shapes and can be produced in any shape.

Claims
Claim:
Digicard is a business card sized, custom shaped compact disk(CD-ROM) which can contain text, graphics, video or sound as well as interactive links to a companies or individual web site ar order taking facility.
Compact Discs are currently a circular shape with a diameter of 11.5cm.These are large and cumbersome so reducing their size will make them easier to carry and easier to distribute. They currently play in a regular cd player and can hold of customized media.
I have found that the disadvantage of these compact discs is their size which can be overcome by reducing their size to that of a business card. Size reduction will allow business or individuals to distribute these new customized compact discs in the same fashion that they would distribute a business card. They will continue to use a regular compact disc player as their media of play, resting in the inner tray of the cd player. The front of the custom shaped compact disc will be silk screened or hold an adhesive label to graphically market the company or individual. These new shaped compact discs can hold up to 50 mg of media. The media can include tent, graphics, sound or video presented in an interactive format that can contain links to web sites as well as interactive order capabilities.

Web Page Exposure: So you've created your company web page and now you need to get potential clients to visit it, try an Digicard with a link to your web page.
Sales Promotion: Leave a copy of your sales presentation for clients to show other associates Catalogues: Use Digicard to distribute your catalogue of products with links to your sales department Resumes: Use your personalized Digicard containing cover letters, resume, and diplomas to distribute resumes to prospective employers.
