Abstract
L'invention concerne un ensemble de cylindres (20) destiné à des applications à température élevée et comprenant un corps de cylindre (22) et des tourillons (30) disposés à leurs extrémités opposées (24). Le corps de cylindre et les tourillons sur lesquels il s'appuie sont faits en alliages possédant des coefficients dissemblables d'expansion thermique linéaire. Les tourillons sont fixés au corps de cylindre de manière à ce qu'il existe, à température ambiante, un écart prédéterminé (40) qui diminue ou disparaît à une température de fonctionnement désirée. L'écart diminue grâce aux différences d'expansion thermique entre le corps de cylindre et les tourillons. Dans quelques modes de réalisation, la grandeur de l'écart est déterminée de manière à ce qu'il y ait un ajustement serré prédéterminé entre les tourillons et le corps de cylindre, ce qui permet d'assurer l'intégrité de l'ensemble de cylindres et le transfert de charges. Dans d'autres modes de réalisation, la grandeur de l'écart est calculée de manière à ce que plusieurs raccords mécaniques (44), disposés entre le corps de cylindre et les tourillons, assurent l'intégrité de l'ensemble et le transfert de charges entre le corps de cylindre et les tourillons.
