Abstract
L'invention concerne un système de cyclone pour séparer des particules de différentes tailles et densités d'un flux de liquide. Un liquide transportant des particules est introduit à une extrémité d'une chambre cylindrique allongée par une entrée tangentielle (13) pour créer un écoulement tourbillonnaire dans cette chambre. Une hélice (18) située à une extrémité de la chambre renforce l'écoulement tourbillonnaire. Plusieurs buses orientées tangentiellement (21) injectant un gaz augmentent encore l'écoulement tourbillonnaire. Le flux tournant produit une région externe riche en particules lourdes, une région axiale riche en gaz et en particules légères et une région annulaire de liquide propre, entre les deux. Le liquide propre sort de la chambre par une sortie (30) à l'extrémité de la chambre, opposée à celle où le liquide transportant des particules est introduit. Les particules lourdes, dans la région externe, sont évacuées par une sortie (24) et les particules légères et le gaz dans la région axiale sont évacués par une autre sortie (26).
