Abstract
La présente invention concerne une charpente de bâtiment résistant aux tremblements de terre, aux vents violents, à l'incendie, aux insectes et à la putréfaction. Cette charpente comprend un mur périphérique en charpente constitué par des modules en charpente (36) de mur latéral boulonnés ensemble le long de bords contigus, et des modules (36) de mur d'extrémité boulonnés de la même manière ainsi qu'aux extrémités des modules de mur latéral qui leur sont reliés. Les modules (36) de mur latéral sont construits avec des bâtis rectangulaires en tubes d'acier, soudés ensemble hors du chantier, dans un atelier de soudage, sous des angles de 90· exactement, de telle sorte que la charpente assemblée du bâtiment est verticale et droite. Des entretoises en diagonale sont placées dans des modules de murs latéraux et d'extrémités sélectionnés, en fonction des besoins pour obtenir le degré désiré de résistance au vent (fig. 3D). Des fermes (30), qui servent à supporter un toit sur le mur périphérique, sont également faites de tubes carrés en acier de 2 pouces sur 2. Elles sont assemblées et soudées à l'atelier de soudage, et transportées au chantier par camion, de même que les modules de murs.
