Abstract

Une clé anglaise se compose d'un élément fixe et d'un élément mobile assemblé à l'élément fixe de façon à pouvoir pivoter pour que la deuxième partie de serrage de l'élément mobile et la première partie de serrage de l'élément fixe puissent travailler en conjugaison. L'élément fixe comporte une fente de pivotement dans laquelle pivote la deuxième partie pivotante de l'élément mobile de manière que la première partie de serrage de l'élément fixe et la deuxième partie de serrage de l'élément mobile puissent se conjuguer pour retenir et faire tourner un écrou, un boulon ou autre élément du genre relativement petit et mince.
