Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant d'ouvrir l'orifice de décharge d'une cuve de traitement de métal en fusion. Ce dispositif comprend un clapet (6) comportant des parties (7, 9 et 8, 11) mobiles les unes par rapport aux autres et un tube frangible (13) à travers lequel le gaz peut circuler. Le tube (13) s'étend à travers les parties du clapet (7, 9 et 8, 11) et entre dans l'orifice de décharge de la cuve. l'ouverture du clapet par mouvement relatif des parties (9, 11) dudit clapet entraîne la rupture du tube de manière à ce qu'il ne bouche plus l'ouverture. L'extrémité du tube (13) comporte une partie d'appui cupuliforme (13a) destinée à être appariée à une cavité correspondante pratiquée dans le clapet (6) ou à côté.
