Abstract

Comme on le sait, les téLécommandes sont des appareils électroniques portatifs de formes variées qui sont sujets aux chocs dus à des chutes. En effet, un tel incident peut occasionner un bris du boitier ou encore une malfonction de l'appareil. Dans l'un ou l'autre de ces cas, la remise en état ou le remplacement de l'appareil entrainent très souvent des dépenses élevées. La présente invention a pour but de protéger à peu de frais ces appareils tout en permettant leurs pleine utilisation, et ce, dans une majorité de formes ou dimensions, contre tout bris pouvant être occasionné par un choc du à une chute. Cette gaine, faite d'un polymère possèdant une grande élasticité, s'adapte et enrobe la télécommande, ou tout autre objet de forme similaire et de dimension comparable, et lui procure une protection accrue aux endroits les plus susceptibles de subir ces chocs.As we know, the remote controls are portable electronic devices of various forms which are subject to shocks due to falls. MEMOIRE DESCRIeTIF

La presente lnventlon conslste en une gaine monobloc rectangulaire faite d'un polymere souple et possèdant une grande elasticit~ servant a proteger les telecommandas contre tout bris pouvant resulter d'une chute ou d'un choc quelconque tout en n'lnterdisant pas son bon fonctlonnement.

Cette lnvention, de format unique, s'adapte a un large eventail de forme et de dimension grace a l'utilisation d'un polymere souple et elastique. En fait, elle peut tout aussi bien s'adapter aux telecommandes rectangulaires qu'a celles de forme arrondie ou angulaire.
Elle peut aussl convenlr a des apparells de plus grande dimension et ce, Jusqu'a la llmlte d'elongatlon du materiau utilise. Bien sur, a ce degre d'etirement, la protection offerte sera partiellement ammolndrle en raison de l'amincissement des parois.

Cette gaine dolt aussl ëtre fabrlquee a l'alde d'un materlau non toxique en raison de son usage domestique, donc de la posslblllté gue celle-ci soit l'obJet d'une degustation de la part d'enfants en bas agQ.

Comme il est mentionne precedemment, cette invention peut tres blen convenlr a des appareils electroniques portatifs autres que les telecommandes a qui elle s'adapte tout aussi bien comme les calculatrlces, certains baladeurs, certains agendas electronlgues ou dlvers appareils de mesure qui sont, eux aussl, sujet aux manlpulatlon et de ce fait, susceptibles de subir des degats lorsqu'elles ont a encaisser un choc. ~ien que certains de ces appareils solent parfois accompagnes d'une gaine protectrice, celle-ci ne convient gu'a eux seul et ne peut qu'exceptionnellement @tre utilisee sur d'autres lnstruments pulEqu'elle eet eouvent falte d'un materiau riglde. De plus, elle n'est parfols conçue qu'en vue du transport de ceux-ci et ne permet pas touJours leur utllisation lorsqu'elle est en place.

_ 2--Par contre, la presente invention, d'une grande versatilite, offre l'avantage de pouvoir utiliser l'appareil protege sans avoir a la retirer: elle est installee en permanence sur celul-ci.

Mentlonnons de plus que Eon lnstallatlon est fort slmple:

Si l'on considere les dessins qul lllustrent cette lnvention:

Comme on peut le constater sur ces desslns, la galne est constitu~e d'une seule et unique piece d'un polymere, d'un latex, d'un caoutchouc, ou de tout autre materiau possedant des qualites semblables. De forme generale rectangulaire, cette gaine possedent des caracteristiques ~numerot~es de 1 a 8~ qui, comblnées au proprletes de ce plastique, lul conferent toutes les qualites requises a l'appllcatlon qui est sienne.

En effet, les chocs sont prlnclpalement absorbes par les quatres coins (1) aux parols surelevées par rapport au parois laterales (9), aux bordures inferieures (4) et aux bordures superieures (S) gui n'ont que peu de chances d'entrer en contact avec le sol les premiers puisque les coins y sont préddminants. Les bordures ainsi que les parois laterales ont pour fonction principale le maintient de l'appareil a l'interieur de la gaine, tout en offrant une protection raisonnable, et sont concues de maniere a enrober ce dernler sans toutefois en empecher l'utllisatlon normale.

Zl ~ ~7~6 Des encavures (3), situées sur les bordures supérieures et inférleures ainsi que des encavures internes (2), permettent a cette galne de mieux épouser la forme des appareils à protéger et ainsi a minimiser les deformations lorsque l'appareil couvert est de forme arrondle ou angulaire.

Mentlonnons le fait que la partie superieure de l'invention est en maJeure partie libre de matériel, hormis les bordures qui maintiennent la télécommande en place, et ceci afin d'accéder au panneau de commande de l'appareil puisqu'une de ses caractéristiques importante et l'origine de sa conception sont de protéger sans interdire le bon fonctionnement.

Cette invention, tres versatile (elle peut convenir à d'autres appareils mentionnés precedemment), possède une grande adaptabilite d'ou son nom: Gaine de Protection Universelle pour Télécommandes.

En outre, cette invention comporte une ouverture frontale (7) de bonne dimension qui permet, dans le cas des télécommandes, le passage des signaux de commande. Dans d'autres cas, elle peut accomoder l'accès à des prises utilitaires. Les ouvertures latérales (6) et arrières (8) ont pour fonction de faclliter l'expansion du matériau.
