Abstract

The invention relates to a screw cap essentially comprising two elements formed by a skirt and a tamper-indicating ring connected, at intervals, by small spacer elements which can be broken during unscrewing of the cap, characterised in that, of the abovementioned two elements, either the skirt (2) or the tamper-indicating ring (3) has extensions (8-10) which extend sufficiently far in the direction of and beyond the opposite element to prevent any deformation, in the radial direction of the cap, of the tamper-indicating ring (3). <IMAGE>
