Abstract

The industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of an automobile as shown in the drawings; the most novel and distinctive features of the automobile are the front bumper and the front combination lamps; the generally symmetrical front bumper presents a front surface which curves outwards and rearwards and has a central recessed grill area therein situated between the front combination lamps; the recessed grill area presents a V-shaped lower edge which merges through rounded lower corner areas into upwards and outwards sloped narrow side portions; the narrow side portions merge through acute angled upper corner areas into a narrow upper portion which is generally straight in front view; the front bumper also presents rearwards extending side surfaces on either side of the front surface with smooth curved corner areas between the front surface and side surfaces; the front surface also presents lower left side and lower right side mirror image recessed areas each with an acute angled inside corner area, generally straight upper and lower edges in front view, and a generally straight outer edge; the front surface also presents a generally straight raised central lower edge which merges through outwards and downwards gradually sloping straight portions which in turn merge into generally straight lower outer edge portions of the front bumper; the front combination lamps are situated on either side of the central recessed grill area in the front bumper; each front combination lamp presents a straight angled inner edge which follows the contour of the adjacent narrow side portion of the recessed grill area; the angled inner edge of each front combination lamp and the generally straight adjacent portion of the lower edge thereof form an acute angled lower inside corner area of each front combination lamp; the generally straight portion of the lower merges into a small downwards V-shaped portion which continues upwards and rearwards to the rear corner area of each front combination lamp.Each front combination lamp presents a transparent front surface which curves outwards and then bend sharply rearwards; the upper edge of each front combination lamp is generally straight and forms an acute angle with the generally straight outer edge of the front combination lamp. The front combination lamp present a downwards and forwards sloped transparent front surface, a housing portion which extends around the periphery of the transparent front surface; the transparent front surface curves sharply rearwards to the right to an acutely angled right rear corner area; the housing portion presents acutely angled left and right end sections, an upper section which curves gradually upwards to the right and to the rear, a lower section which presents a generally straight left side portion which merges into a small downwards V-shaped portion which continues upwards and rearwards to the right rear corner area.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein: Fig. 1 is a right front perspective view of the design of an automobile; Fig. 2 is a right rear perspective view thereof; Fig. 3 is a front elevation view thereof; Fig. 4 is a rear elevation view thereof; Fig. 5 is a top plan view thereof; Fig. 6 is a right side elevation view thereof; and Fig. 7 is a left side elevation view thereof.
