Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a generally symmetrical bottle; the most distinctive features of the bottle are the lower body portion thereof; the lower body portion has a front wall, a rear wall, side walls and a bottom wall; the front and rear walls are parallel and generally identical; the side walls are parallel and generally identical; the front, rear and side walls have curved corner areas between them; the lower body portion of the bottle has a series of generally identical and equally spaced-apart continuous narrow grooves having beveled sides that extend around the lower body portion; the front and rear walls have generally rectangular identical shallow recessed areas with rounded corners and beveled sides that extend most of the height of the lower body portion; the lower end of the lower body portion has smooth curved shoulder areas between the side walls and the bottom wall and relatively flat areas between the front and rear walls and the bottom wall; the relatively flat areas of the front and rear walls each have a lip-like area in elevation view having a convex curved upper line, downwardly and inwardly curved side lines which merge through curved lines into a relatively straight lower line; a straight line extends between the ends of the lip-like area; the bottom wall has a central recessed area with beveled sides and a generally octagonal-like shape in plan view with generally identical protuberances at the corner areas thereof; the top end of the lower body portion has a slightly raised area which generally follows the contour of the lower body portion; the side walls of the slightly raised area have narrow elongated generally biconvex recesses therein; the front and rear walls of the slightly raised area each has a pair of small generally triangular areas thereon which are generally aligned with the beveled sides of the shallow generally rectangular recessed areas.
