Abstract
DISPOSITIVO HOSPEDEIRO INTERFACEANDO COM UM PONTO DE DESDOBRAMENTO (POD) E MéTODO DE PROCESSAMENTO DE DADOS DE DIFUSãO. São divulgados um dispositivo hospedeiro que faz interface com um ponto de implantação (POD) e um método para processar dados de difusão. Aqui, uma unidade de interface física do Protocolo da Internet (IP) recebe um quadro Ethernet que inclui dados de difusão, e um motor de roteamento transforma o quadro Ethernet em um pacote IP, quando um endereço de destino incluido no quadro Ethernet casar com um endereço de um POD, e roteia o pacote IP transformado até um canal estendido conectado no POD. Dessa maneira, é possível proteger conteúdos usando um acesso condicional fornecido pelo cartão de cabo existente e processar dados de difusão recebidos em todos os tipos de protocolos de transmissão, incluindo um protocolo IP, em uma rede com fios / sem fios que usa um canal fornecido para conexão entre o cartão de cabo existente e o dispositivo hospedeiro.
