Abstract

LENTE INTRA-OCULAR. Em um aspecto, a presente invenção refere-se uma lente oftálmica (por exemplo uma IOL) que inclui uma ótica que possui uma superfície ótica anterior e uma superfície ótica posterior, aonde a ótica provê uma potência ótica em uma faixa de 16D a 25D como medida em um meio que possui um índice de refração substancialmente similar ao do humor aquoso do olho (cerca de 1336). Pelo menos uma superfície ótica é caracterizada por um perfil de base esférica de maneira tal que a ótica exibe uma aberração negativa em uma faixa de cerca de -0,202 mícron a -0,190 mícron através da faixa de potência.
