Abstract
USO DE FàRMULA LACTENTE COM TEOR DE PROTEÍNA REDUZIDO. A presente invenção refere-se a um método de continuamente reduzir o nível circulante de fator de crescimento semelhante á insulina 1 (IGF-1) nos primeiros meses da vida de um lactente que compreende administrar ao lactente uma composição nutricional compreendendo proteínas em uma quantidade de modo que a composição contém menos que 2,25 g de proteína por 100 kcal. Como IGF-1 é conhecido por ser um ponto de controle fundamental na regulação nutricional de crescimento, este pode oferecer um método de reduzir o risco de desenvolver obesidade mais tarde na vida.
