Abstract
RASTREAMENTO DE MOVIMENTO BASEADO EM IMAGEM. A presente invenção refere-se ao rastreamento de movimento baseado em imagem de um número de objetos em uma área especifica. Um número de meios de registro de imagem grava repetidamente dados que pertencem a múltiplas representações simultâneas de eventos que ocorrem dentro da área. Especificamente, pelo menos um par estéreo de câmeras (101a, 101b) grava repetidamente os dados de imagem estéreo (D1', D1") com base nos quais uma unidade de processamento (110) determina repetidamente uma respectiva posição de cada um dos objetos. De acordo com a invenção, uma primeira câmera (101a) e uma segunda câmera (101b) no par estéreo estão separadas por uma distância de base. Mais ainda, as câmeras (101a, 101b) estão essencialmente paralelas e direcionadas para a área de modo que um primeiro plano de imagem da primeira câmera (lOla) registra uma porção da área, a qual substancialmente sobrepõe uma porção da área registrada por um segundo plano de imagem da segunda câmera (101b).
