Abstract
NEURÈNIOS DOPAMINéRGICOS DERIVADOS DO LIMBUS CORNEAL, MéTODOS DE ISOLAMENTO E USOS DOS MESMOS, compreendendo a geração de células neurais e de neurónios a partir de células-tronco do tipo embriónico (ELSCs) pluripotentes de mamífero isoladas do tecido límbico corneal, um tecido não embriónico; mais particularmente, a geração de células neuroprogenitoras e de neurónios dopaminérgicos diferenciados de ELSCs; sendo que os métodos descritos demonstram o potencial das ELSCs como uma ferramenta terapêutica e podem fornecer novas alternativas terapêuticas para várias doenças afecções e lesões, como também as células neuroprogenitoras geradas a partir das ELSCs isoladas do tecido límbico corneal foram suficientes para aliviar as anomalias motoras em um modelo de rato de mal de PARKINSON por pelo menos seis meses.DOPAMINERGIC NEURONS DERIVED FROM CORNAL LIMBUS, INSULATION METHODS AND USES OF THE SAME, comprising the generation of neural cells and neurons from pluripotent mammalian embryonic stem cells (ELSCs), a non-embryonic tissue; more particularly the generation of neuroprogenitor cells and differentiated dopaminergic neurons from ELSCs; The described methods demonstrate the potential of ELSCs as a therapeutic tool and may provide new therapeutic alternatives for various diseases, disorders and injuries, as well as neuroprogenitor cells generated from ELSCs isolated from corneal limbic tissue were sufficient to alleviate motor abnormalities in a PARKINSON evil mouse model for at least six months.
