Abstract
"MéTODO PARA CORTAR MATERIAIS ELASTOMéRICOS E O ARTIGO PRODUZIDO PELO MéTODO". São providos um método e um equipamento para cortar um laminado elastomérico que pode incluir uma camada de cordonéis de reforço com um comprimento desejado sem cortar os cordonéis. O método inclui a etapa de cortar a porção de látex do material composto elastomérico em um ângulo de chanfro ou inclinação desejado e a seguir abrir o corte em chanfro. A seguir, a camada de reforço de cordonéis é cortada sem romper os cordonéis de reforço. é produzida uma fita de material composto elastomérica cortada no comprimento desejado e que possui extremidades cortadas. Uma das extremidades cortadas tem a porção de látex cortada em um ângulo de chanfro desejado adjacente a uma porção em balanço da camada de reforço. A extremidade oposta do segmento de material composto elastomérico também possui uma porção chanfrada para se acoplar com a porção chanfrada da primeira extremidade cortada e uma fresta na camada de cordonéis para se acoplar com o balanço de cordonéis da primeira extremidade, resultando em uma emenda. é também provida uma bigorna aperfeiçoada possuindo zonas de vácuo controladas independentemente, bem como mecanismos de corte aperfeiçoados.
