Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO FARMACêUTICA NA FORMA DE SOLUçãO INJETáVEL DE MORFINA PRONTA PARA USO E FORMA DE DOSAGEM UNITáRIA DE MORFINA PARA ADMINISTRAçãO EPIDURAL OU INTRATECAL". A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição analgésica na forma de uma solução injetável, estéril e apirogênica que é constituída de um sal farmaceuticamente aceitável de morfina dissolvido em um solvente (veículo) farmaceuticamente aceitável, sendo o pH da solução resultante na faixa de 2,5 a 6,5 e a concentração de morfina de cerca de 0,025 a 0,195 mg/mL (expressa como o seu sal hidratado). Tal composição, acondicionada em um container selado, é pronta para uso e é adequada para administração epidural e intratecal em adultos e endovenosa em crianças."PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION IN THE FORM OF INJECTABLE MORPHINE READY FOR USE AND UNITARY MORPHINE DOSAGE FORM FOR EPIDURAL OR INTRATECAL ADMINISTRATION". The present invention relates to an analgesic composition in the form of a sterile, pyrogen-free solution for injection which is comprised of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of morphine dissolved in a pharmaceutically acceptable solvent (carrier), the pH of the resulting solution being in the range of 2 0.5 to 6.5 and the morphine concentration of about 0.025 to 0.195 mg / mL (expressed as its hydrated salt). Such a composition, packaged in a sealed container, is ready for use and is suitable for epidural and intrathecal administration in adults and intravenous in children.
