Abstract

Método e aparelho para determinar o tipo de um disco digital versátil. O presente invento descreve um método e um aparelho para determinar o tipo de um disco digital versátil (DVDs). O método inclui configurar parâmetros relativos, obter um sinal de oscilação a partir de um DVD, configurar um fator de divisão de freqüência, e dividir a freqüência do sinal de oscilação pelo fator de divisão de freqüência. Então, o tempo exigido para o disco digital versátil girar uma volta acionado pelo motor de um tocador, é configurado como unidade de tempo para calcular a freqüência do sinal de oscilação dividido. Finalmente, o tipo de disco digital versátil é determinado de acordo com a freqüência do sinal de oscilação.
