Abstract

"RECUPERAçãO DE FITONUTRIENTES A PARTIR DE óLEOS". A presente invenção se refere a um processo aperfeiçoado e integrado para a extração e purificação de tocotrienóis ou tocoferóis, carotenóides e esteróis a partir de óleos vegetais e outros óleos comestíveis. ácidos graxos nos óleos vegetais são submetidos à esterificação alcoólica para formar camada rica em éster que inclui ésteres alquílicos de ácido graxo, carotenóides, tocotrienóis ou tocoferóis, e esteróis. As vantagens desse processo são que os tocotrienóis ou tocoferóis, carotenóides e esteróis são produzidos eficientemente sem qualquer decomposição ou degradação substancial desses fitonutrientes.
