Abstract
"SISTEMA DE DIREçãO PARA UM VEìCULO UTILITáRIO AGRìCOLA OU INDUSTRIAL, E, MéTODO PARA OPERAR O MESMO". A invenção se refere a um sistema de direção para um veículo utilitário agrícola ou industrial, particularmente para um trator. Um acionamento elétrico (22, 24) é provido para cada metade de um eixo, preferivelmente um eixo dianteiro (20), do veículo utilitário (10). O dito acionamento pode acionar pelo menos uma roda (26) associada com cada metade do eixo. O acionamento elétrico (22, 24) pode ser controlado de uma tal maneira que um definido torque pode ser transmitido do acionamento elétrico (22, 24) para a roda (26) que ele aciona. Preferivelmente, as rodas (14) associadas com um eixo de acionamento mecânico, particularmente um eixo traseiro (12), do veículo utilitário (10), podem ser acionadas por um acionamento mecânico (18, 18) do veículo utilitário (10). A invenção também se refere a um método para operar um sistema de direção. O objetivo da invenção é permitir que forças de tração sejam transmitidas pelas rodas (26) acionadas pelos acionamentos elétricos (22, 24), até mesmo quando o veículo utilitário (10) executa curvas, pelo que particular torque de frenagem deve ser prevenido sobre as ditas rodas (26) em ângulos de direção específicos. O torque que deve ser transmitido para a roda no exterior da curva é maior que o torque que deve ser transmitido para a roda no interior da curva a fim de suportar ou efetuar a direção ou esterçamento do veículo utilitário (10).
