"SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIOS INCLUINDO UMA ESTAçãO DE RáDIO BASE, E, MéTODO DE CONTROLE DE LIGAçãO INVERSA EM UM SISTEMA DE ESTAçãO BASE DE REDE DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIOS". Um aparelho e método provêem lógica de MAC que habilita o uso de dois ou mais controles de taxa de ligação inversa ao mesmo tempo em um ou mais setores de uma estação de rádio base. This enables the base station to control reverse link loading by reverse link rate control, while assigning mobile stations to the type of reverse link rate control best suited to their needs. For example, base station MAC logic can implement both a common rate controller that generates sector rate control commands, and a dedicated rate controller that generates user rate control commands and designates mobile stations having needs for each. relatively low reverse link service to the common rate controller, while assigning mobile stations having more stringent reverse link service requirements to dedicated rate control. More than two rate controls can be implemented, and exemplary choices include rate control by user, by sector, by group, and programmed in any combination.
