Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"COLUNA DE BOLHAS E SEU USO"<D>. A invenção refere-se a uma coluna de bolhas com bandejas perfuradas operável em contracorrente. O rendimento espaço-tempo de reações gás-líquido pode ser substancialmente aumentado quando as bandejas (5) têm uma distribuição de furos substancialmente uniforme, as áreas de seção transversal dos furos individuais estão na faixa de 0,003 a 3 mm², especialmente 0,01 a 0,5 mm², a área aberta das bandejas situa-se na faixa de 3 a 20 %, especialmente 3 a 10 % e a coluna de bolhas é provida com passagens para fluxo de líquido (6) entre zonas de líquido vizinhas. A coluna de bolhas pode ser usada para efetuar reações gás líquido como reações de oxidação com ar, sendo gás e líquido preferencialmente passados em fluxo co-corrente através da coluna.
