"COMPOSIçõES, FóRMULAS, DISPOSITIVOS E PROCESSOS DE CONTROLE DA ESPECIFICIDADE E DA INCLUSIVIDADE DE MICROORGANISMOS CONTENDO EPìTOPOS ANTIGêNICOS INTIMAMENTE RELACIONADOS" Composições, fórmulas, dispositivos e processos para a detecção de microorganismos alvos, como por ensaio de imunoprecipitado visual, imunoensaio ligado a enzima, quimioluminescência, imunotransferência, ou tecnologia de detecção similar, em que a detecção requer a discriminação entre gêneros, espécies e cepas intimamente relacionadas de microorganismos antigenicamente relacionados, com base na reatividade imunológica de epítopos antigênicos altamente conservados com um sistema reagente composto de um anticorpo ligado a um reagente de detectação. A invenção permite que um evento detectável ocorra por exposição de epítopos antigênicos inacessíveis, mas altamente conservados e específicos, ao reagente de detecção. A exposição desses epítopos antigênicos, sem inativação do metabolismo microbiano, permite uma detecção específica.
