Abstract

"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA SELECIONAR UM VEDADORMECâNICO". Uma seleção de vedador, desenho de vedador,fabricação e vendas automatizados permite que um distribuidor ouusuário destreinado selecione um vedador de substituição parauma bomba. o sistema automatizado desenha e projeta o vedador,quer padrão ou especial, e cria todos os desenhos,documentação, cotações e outros formulários de saída. o sistemaautomatizado inicia a seleção a partir do inventário ou compra dosmateriais a serem usados nas operações de fabricação, cria todosos programas CNC de fabricação para os componentes a seremfabricados e transfere para o CNC do equipamento de fabricação.o sistema permite a seleção de um vedador com base em umnúmero de peça de vedador, ou seleção de um vedador com baseem uma bomba na qual o vedador será instalado e nas condiçõesde operação da bomba. A bomba pode ser definida pela buscaatravés de um banco de dados das bombas existentes, ou podeser definida como uma nova bomba se ela não está no banco dedados da bomba. Os resultados de uma análise de compatibilidadeprévia, talvez executada pelo fabricante do vedador, podem seracessados para bombas existentes, ou uma análise decompatibilidade on-line pode ser executada para novas bombas,para determinar se um vedador existente ajusta-se à bomba semmodificação. Se nenhum vedador existente se ajusta, o sistemaproporciona duas opções. Em uma primeira opção, um vedadorespecial é especificado que se ajustará à bomba sem modificaçõesna bomba. Um sistema de desenho integrado determina asdimensões para o vedador especial e seus vários componentes emtempo real produzindo cotações imediatas incluindo desenhos.Com uma segunda opção, as modificações na bomba sãodefinidas, de forma que um vedador padrão se ajustará. Depoisque um vedador é especificado, o sistema recomenda materiais deconstrução e permite que o consumidor selecione materiais eoutras opções selecionáveis.
