Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"APARELHO PARA EXIBIçãO DE IMAGENS PARA ESPECTADORES EM MOVIMENTO"<D>. Um aparelho para exibição de imagens paradas para espectadores em movimento em relação àquelas imagens, tais como passageiros em um trem de metró, inclui uma pluralidade de imagens montadas em uma superfície, e uma placa de fenda montada entre aquela superfície e o espectador. Conforme os espectadores passam, a placa de fenda atua como um obturador, criando um efeito de animação. Além disso, há um efeito de distensão ou de alargamento que aumenta as imagens, permitindo que imagens sejam "pré-retraídas", desse modo permitindo um número maior de imagens em um espaço pequeno, aumentando a taxa de quadro disponível da animação. O efeito de distensão depende da distância entre a superfície de imagem e a placa de fenda.
